The Rollins Museum of Art Permanent Collection

Anchored by a world-class contemporary art collection, The Rollins Museum of Art offers a compelling lens into our current world. Through the work of current leading artists, the museum engages visitors in conversations about the social, cultural, and political forces shaping our global society. Exhibitions spark dialogue, challenge assumptions, and encourage new ways of thinking. By fostering curiosity and reflection, the Museum brings forward the ideas, tensions, and possibilities that define this moment in time.

In select exhibitions, the Museum places contemporary works in dialogue with historical objects from our collection, creating rich, layered perspectives across time. The Museum’s collection includes remarkable historical objects that offer insight into the artistic traditions, materials, and stories. By juxtaposing art of today with works from the past, exhibitions reveal unexpected connections and show how artistic ideas evolve, resonate, and continue to shape culture across generations. These interwoven narratives demonstrate the enduring power and relevance of art.
