The Kathleen W. Rollins Women in Finance Program (WIF) is a career-preparation program that connects Rollins students with finance-focused mentoring, technical training, alumni networks, internships, and industry experiences designed to help more women enter and thrive in the financial field. The program is free and built to get you career and internship-ready before the recruiting season starts.

Meet Sydney Eckstein ’26
Day in the Life of a Women in Finance Student
Sydney came to Rollins as an International student looking for small classes, a computer science program, and a tennis team. She found all three, and so much more with the Kathleen W. Rollins Women in Finance Program Women in Finance program. Get to know Sydney and see how she built a major path that combined computer science with economics and data analytics, turned a program mentorship into a data engineering internship, and landed a full-time wealth management analyst offer from J.P. Morgan before she graduated.

Meet the Academic Director: Anca M. Voicu, PhD
Dr. Voicu brings a global perspective and deep expertise in economics to her role as academic director of the Kathleen W. Rollins Women in Finance Program. A professor of economics at Rollins, Voicu’s research interests include Central and Eastern European economies, trade modeling and forecasting, and environmental economics.
Through the program, Voicu works closely with students as they connect their academic interests to career goals in finance. Her mentorship helps students build personalized pathways to the finance industry.

The Kathleen W. Rollins Women in Finance Program is guided by an Advisory Board of finance professionals, industry leaders, and academics committed to opening doors for the next generation of women in the field. Board members shape the program's direction, strengthen its industry partnerships, and help make sure students graduate with the skills, knowledge, and professional network to succeed—through internships, recruiting, and the careers that follow.
Research that changes the conversation
Rollins faculty and students are contributing to timely research on women’s leadership in finance. A recent faculty-student research project examines women-led and men-led financial institutions in the United States, including measures such as return on investment and return on assets.
