Keen ’70 ’71MBA ’10H Receives Award from Orlando Economic Partnership
The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) honors Allan E. Keen ’70 ’71MBA ’10H with the 2026 James B. Greene Award, recognizing his lifelong commitment to advancing the Orlando region’s economic prosperity.

The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) has selected Rollins Board of Trustees member Allan E. Keen ’70 ’71MBA ’10H for the 2026 James B. Greene Award.
OEP is the Orlando region’s champion for economic prosperity, bringing together leaders, industries, and ideas to expand opportunities and drive investment. The James B. Greene Award is OEP’s highest individual honor, celebrating leaders whose sustained service and impact have helped shape the region’s long-term economic trajectory. Throughout his career, Keen has played a defining role in strengthening Orlando’s talent pipeline, global competitiveness, and quality of place through visionary leadership, institution-building, and transformative infrastructure advocacy.
Keen—chairman and owner of Keewin Real Property Company—will receive the award at the OEP Regional Leadership Conference on March 27, where business and civic leaders will gather to advance the region’s future through talent and innovation, transportation and connectivity, and a more vibrant, competitive economy for all.
“It is truly a humble honor to receive the 2026 James B. Greene Award,” says Keen. “This recognition is especially meaningful to me because Jim Greene represents someone far greater than a single person, or a title, or a position. He represents courage, vision, and leadership at a moment when leadership was not easy.”
Keen’s leadership legacy includes significant contributions to Rollins, where he’s served as a trustee for the past 38 years, the longest of any trustee. In that time, he helped elevate the institution’s academic profile and deepen its connection to the regional workforce and business community. His work reinforced the critical role higher education plays in preparing talent and cultivating leadership essential to Central Florida’s growth.
Keen also played a key role in two major Central Florida developments: transforming part of the Morse-Genius Estate in Winter Park into the Windsong neighborhood and exclusively representing Universal in assembling the more than 2,000 acres that now make up Universal Orlando.
“You can see Keen’s influence and legacy throughout our region,” says Tim Giuliani, OEP’s president and CEO. “He has been there during periods of transformative expansion that helped redefine Orlando’s global brand. His leadership supported major investments that fueled job creation, industry growth, and international recognition, further cementing Orlando’s position as a world-class destination and economic engine.”
Equally impactful has been Keen’s advocacy for regional infrastructure, including his deep involvement in advancing the Wekiva Parkway. His leadership helped advance one of Central Florida’s most significant transportation and environmental projects, improving regional connectivity, supporting economic development, and protecting natural resources while shaping smarter growth across the region.
“Allan Keen embodies the spirit of the James B. Greene Award,” adds Giuliani. “From higher education to transformational infrastructure, Allan has consistently led with a long-term mindset and an unwavering commitment to this region. His work has helped position Orlando for sustained success and aligns squarely with the ambitions of our Orlando 2045 vision.”
