Gatherings & Milestones
Will Graves ’77 ’78MBA was featured in Marquis Who’s Who on its 2025 list of distinguished leaders, which was published in The Wall Street Journal.
Bev Buckley ’75, former Rollins women’s tennis coach, was inducted into the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame. Buckley led the Tars for more than 35 years and retired with the seventh-most wins in Division II history.
Ed Bustos ’98 ’03MBA, Mariana De Biase ’06, Bernardo Malachini ’14, Karin Yadoya ’21, Sofia Pinheiro ’22, and Ana Fujiwara ’24 gathered for dinner in São Paulo to celebrate their shared Rollins connections and global alumni network.
Kristina Holmes ’05 took part in the Susan G. Komen Atlanta More Than Pink Walk at Lenox Square, joining more than 175 Bank of America teammates to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research, treatment access, and policy change.
Cristalle Choi ’22 announced her engagement to Alex Quach. The couple is planning a ceremony in Texas in fall 2026.
Making Moves
Mark Peres ’85 published two books this year: The Accord, a novel exploring the future of human-AI relations, and The Man Who Lived a Hundred Lives, a memoir about his father’s improbable life of reinvention.
Rayshaun Wagner ’17 was accepted into the Executive MBA program at NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Gerardo Abril ’19 ’20MBA was promoted to head of revenue management for LEGOLAND Parks North America. A former 3/2 student, he previously held leadership roles with SeaWorld and andCo Hospitality. Abril credits Rollins and the Crummer Graduate School of Business for helping launch and grow his business career.
Addison Cursey ’19 ’21MBA, chief marketing officer at the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, is co-creator of the B Student Podcast, which was recently ranked among the top 10 percent of Apple Podcasts worldwide. The show features conversations on leadership, authenticity, and the future of work.
Sunny Toreihi ’20 recently passed the Florida Bar exam and began working as an assistant county attorney with the Broward County Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, where she serves in the Real Property practice group. She notes that the Bonner Leaders Program at Rollins inspired her commitment to public service.
